A Thundering River: May Day

May Day is a great river! It is the stream of struggle from past to present, a struggle for a world where there is no human bondage. That river thunders in tune with hearts beating for freedom. It carries the feats of labour, warmth of solidarity and fraternity to all lands it passes… May Day…

It is a day uniting all labourers no matter what their language, religion, skin colour, land is. On May Day hopes flourish all around the world, the aspiration for change revives. Hearts of the workers of the world beat together. They breathe together, sing their songs together; walk together along the branches of the same river. Their aspiration is same in different languages: A free world without classes, exploitation, and wars!

Workers United Will Shake the World! That river has been flowing and sounding for 136 years. For 136 years May Day has been alive!
