Our Solidarity Message to KCTU
Dear friends of KCTU,
We are closely following the process of general strike you started by a big rally on 14 November. First of all we want to say that we fully support the struggle the KCTU has been waging against new anti-worker labour law and TPP. We vigorously condemn the attacks by Park Geun-hye government against the KCTU.
We know very well that these kinds of anti-working class laws are not peculiar to South Korea and that all over the world bourgeois governments try to apply this sort of neoliberal policies of aggression. Therefore we want to emphasise once more that one of the most important conditions of successful struggle against the neoliberal policies of aggression is to build the international solidarity of the working class.
It is utterly important and necessary that fighting organisations of the working class to respond to the attacks carried on by the bourgeoisie on an international level on the same international level. We want you to know that we announced and protested the attacks against the KCTU through our campaign page (http://uidder.org/Koseler/korede_sendikal_baskilara_son) and joined the international campaign condemning and protesting the repression of KCTU, and in line with this campaign we have started to work on mobilising both our supporters and various fighting unions and workers organisations in Turkey to extend their support to you.
