Solidarity Message for Behnam Ebrahimzadeh

Dear Iranian worker brothers and sisters,

As your worker brothers/sisters from Turkey we are closely aware of the repression and terror exerted by the Iranian regime against the working class and we condemn it. One of the most recent examples of this repression is the case of Behnam Ebrahimzadeh. He is an activist for defending the rights of workers and child labourers and has been sentenced to five years. He has been in prison for 3 years and now he is faced with another injustice. He is not allowed to be by the side of his only child who suffers from leukaemia.

As workers from UID-DER we demand immediate and unconditional release of Behnam Ebrahimadeh and all other labour activists and political prisoners. And we fully support the struggle of our class brothers/sisters in Iran. We believe that all bloody bourgeois regimes will be overthrown sooner or later and they will be brought to account for their crimes.
