This year, with more hope for victories in the near future, I celebrate this worker’s day with you. I praise your constant and tireless efforts in supporting and raising awareness among workers and their families. I have more hope that victory is near for all of us because from afar I see the Iranian women fighting for their basic rights. Women fighting with empty hands, bravely opposing injustice and accepting fatal risks to reach fairness and freedom. Like you during these years of fighting for your rights their most precious weapon has also been their faith and courage.
