The Reply of Palestinian Trade Unions to UID-DER
Palestinian trade unions, including Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions issued a call to action on 16 October and called international trade unions and working people of all countries to take action and put pressure on their own governments in order to end all complicity and stop arming Israel. UID-DER, responded to this call with a message of solidarity and emphasised the determination to heighten the struggle against the capitalist order of exploitation and imperialist war and to extend solidarity to the Palestinian people. “Workers in Palestine”, the trade unions of Palestine that issued the urgent call, has sent a message to UID-DER and repeated their call to build a movement to roll back the massacres being committed by the Israeli state. We bring that message to the attention of our readers and all the working class of Turkey.
