To our Japanese Class Brothers and Sisters and Fukushima Mothers: Tears of Dolls
03.08.2023
Elif Çağlı wrote her poem “Tears of Dolls” in 1981 on the anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and dedicated it to the memory of the children who were burned to death with their dolls. Since then she has been continuing her struggle to ensure that such poems are never written again. Elif Çağlı calls out from across borders: “greetings to our Japanese class brothers and sisters who struggle for a world without nuclear weapons, war and exploitation, and to the Fukushima Mothers.”
